Can I internationally ship an item exceeds 200,000 yen in total by EMS?

For parcels shipped by EMS with over 200,000 yen total amount, a submission of a Customs Power of Attorney (Export) to Japan Post Co., Ltd will be required. If content of a parcel was declared with a foreign currency, the currency will be converted to Japanese yen based on the exchange rate on the shipment day. Whether the power of attorney is necessary or not will be determined at the time of shipment.

When a Customs Power of Attorney is required, customs clearance consignment fee to Japan Post Co., Ltd /2,800 yen and customs power of attorney issuing fee applied by us /100 yen will be additionally charged.

Besides, when a Customs Power of Attorney is issued, the customs clearance may not be simplified.
